Jumping right into the ending. Let’s say this is not a happily ever after kind of drama, but it ends with a sweet touch.
One on earth, one in hell. How can the two lovebirds end up together? Them being separated by will is hard to watch.
After drinking mengpo soup, Ma Ruying (acted by Rui en) suppose to forget whatever happened in hell. But end up, she recalls and remembers everything to the tiniest details.
I’ve mentioned in my first impression that I really like the concept of this fantasy drama. The scriptwriter gave us ample of space to imagine what could possibly happen next in this new era hell.
Seeing how they imagine the process like after we burn our offerings to ancestors, how the finance is like down there etc.
Really fun and engaging drama to watch with your family, especially if you are interested in the Chinese’s belief and thoughts about Hell.
