Here’s my review in mydramalist:
Was really excited to see ACTOR PARK in action and taking on his first lead role in a 16 episode drama. With the announcement of the relationships of the cast, I did not expect this drama tilt towards the thriller component this much.
I would say the thriller/investigation vs. romance is a 85% to 15%.
The amount of dead bodies, bloody scenes is more than romance. And I would say the psycho portion makes one feels worst. Humans that don’t react normally will scare the hell out of you and make you constantly live in fear more than the non-living things does. Reason, you have no idea “what’s next”.
Towards the end, when everything starts to sync and gave a major throwback. It makes sense but gives loads of goosebumps as a viewer. The impact of the sound effect and OST really make me sit on a emotional roller coaster throughout the drama.
Love how the drama has a little component of “happily ever after” but not everyone deserves that. Kuddos to the writer.
Hope to see more ACTOR PARK in the future!

Basically, my review does summarized my thoughts about the entire drama without much spoilers. Now, we are getting to the real deal and breakdown.
The one strongest word I learnt through the drama.
Alexithymia (origin from Greek) refers to the difficulty in experiencing, expressing, and describing emotional responses. (source)
Grass is greener on the other side, we often think about how to avoid heartbreaks or sad emotions when we are there. Thinking we will be better off without feeling it.
After watching it, I feel fortunate to be able to feel different emotions. To be able to distinguish one from another, to experience life. However, through this drama, we are exposed to their world and really understand their point of view in the world.
Where is starts and how it will end
Mentioned previously that there are many veteran actors/actresses join in as cast of He is Psychometric which will help the younger cast members a lot.
Let’s draw more focus on Seungmo’s parents. They are the key to what happened, their story reveals at the finale but also proves that everything actually happened because of them.
Kang Geun Taek (acted by Lee Seung Jun) is the person with Alexithymia. He imprison Cho Eun Joo for more than nine years and together they have Seungmo. Held in captive for nine years in a basement. It is tough childhood for both Seungmo and his mom.
(PS: If you realized it, Lee Seung Jun was previously a friendly CEO and good guy in Memories of the Alhambra. So it was a 180 degree change when I see him again for He is Psychometric.)
Jae In was brought into Yi An’s life to help him learn how to control his superpowers based on Seungmo’s assumption that she is the chosen (fated) one.
Through the help from Jae In, Yi An is able to get the reading accurately and really help him to grow his ability to help others.
Eventually he was banned by girlfriend not to touch the dead as he will feel the same amount of pain they went through and might cause his life.
Fated – or arranged?
All the dots will end up connected by one mastermind. Which is scary to say that all the while, he have seen it coming. Just the emotions triggered by pulling them together is not part of the plan.
Yellow and Red Umbrella?
Honestly, I’m still trying to figure out what does it mean. During the scene when Yi An realized that the person that indirectly caused the death of his parents is Jae In’s father.
He is trying to process the information and facts in the rain and I can’t help to notice that he is walking against a flood of people holding on to either Yellow or Red umbrellas.
Myth saying that yellow umbrella symbolize love for each other. (I guess HIMYM started the trend?) Some say Yellow represents Jae In and Red represents Yi An.
Bitter Sweet Love
Every drama do have that one couple that checked the box of having the bitter sweet love. In this case, Seung Mo (acted by Kim Kwon) and Jisoo (acted by Dasom) is the pair.
The always “you know how good he/she is after they left”. But for obvious reasons, they will never end up together due to Seung Mo’s complications.
There are more things, story, cast worth your time to watch and understand about.
