Mystic Pop-Up Bar script reading

The upcoming JTBC’s drama, Mystic Pop-up Bar (previously known as Ssanggab Cart Bar) shows the first script reading of the actors.

The shoot was done by the end of Feb and currently going through post production stage. Means the drama will complete the entire production before it premieres in May 2020. The script reading was revealed to be done last August with the actors and crew including the main lead Hwang Jeong Eum, BTOB’s Yuk Sungjae, Choi Won Young, Lee Joon Hyuk and Jung Da Eun.

More information on the characters

Previously, have no clue about the characters and what will be happening in the drama. Today, we have more idea about them.

Wol Joo (Hwang Jung Eum) does not belong to the human nor the dead’s world (similar to Hotel del Luna?!) allows her to move between dreams. She is also the owner of the cart bar name pojangmacha. Han Kang Bae (BTOB’s Yuk Sungjae) is a full time employee at Gab Eul Mart’s customer service center in the day and part time employee at pojangmacha.

Foreman Gwi (Choi Won Young) is the manager of pojangmacha who used to be a detective in the Afterlife Police Department. (interesting… afterlife police) The Department Head Yeom (Lee Joon Hyuk) is a department head in Hell and also a grim reaper. Finally, we have Yeo Rin (Jung Da Eun) who work in the Gab Eul Mart with Kang Bae as a straight-laced security.

The drama will premiere on 20 May 2020, every Wednesday and Thursday.
