The upcoming SBS horror action drama, Joseon Exorcist is set in the Joseon era, a story of the undead who came back to life after being ordered to kill by the royal family. Prince Chung Nyeong is a young man that prefers books to war but was forced to the field to protect Joseon from the evil spirits.

Byeo Ri (Kim Dong Jun) is a social outcast by birth, he travels together with a troupe being the in-charge of physical feats and skillful with weapons. Hye Yum (Geum Sae Rok) is the mascot in the traveling troupe. Despite her beauty, she is actually blunt and straightforward.
In the teaser, Hye Yum says that no one in Joseon treats them like human beings and contemplating how long they have to live like this.
Prince Chung Nyeong (Jang Dong Yoon) is a powerless prince and was threaten by his brother Prince Yang Nyeong (Park Sung Hoon) to not desire anything and to live his life like a firewood or a pillar.
The lowly troupe members, Byeo Ri and Hye Yum join arms with the powerless prince Chung Nyeong to go on a journey together.
