There are so many things to cover for Itaewon Class that one article is hard to cover. All the twists and turns, the number of years passed from 1st episode to the 14th episode is over a decade. 

From my first impression to the latest episode, here are some turning points to take note of. Life happens after Park Saeroyi (Park Seo Joon) released from prison. 

#1 Saeroyi’s plan

After release, Saeroyi went to find his first love Soo Ah (Nara) in Itaewon. She showed him around the vibrant neighbourhood and he is clearer of his goals and plans. 

He told Soo Ah that he will be going for deep water fishing the next day and aims to open up a bar in Itaewon 7 years later. 

#2 Danbam

Danbam is struggling to survive in Itaewon with Saeroyi and two other employees. 

The ID incident led two souls crosspaths and Yi Seo (Kim Da Mi) is attracted to Saeroyi. Yi Seo ditched all poaching from top universities in the country and volunteered to be the manager of Danbam. 

With her social Influencer background and IQ160, Yi Seo made a fast turnaround for the business from almost zero sales to earning above average daily. 

#3 Itaewon Class

The existing employees with the addition of Yi Seo and Jang Geun Soo (Kim Dong Hee) the business starts to flourish and they need one more part timer. After interviewing countless potentials, Yi Seo decided to hire Toni, the black African American who claims to be Korean. 

The 6 of them form the ‘Itaewon Class’. 

#4 Jealous Jangga Group

Jang Dae Hee (Yoo Jae Myung) the CEO of Jangga Group is a fierce and ruthless leader in the F&B industry. Ever since he first met the high school student who punched his elder son, Jang Geun Won (Ahn Bo Hyun) in his face, he marked Saeroyi for life. 

Knowing that his business is picking up and doing well, he starts his plan to sabotage the business. 

#5 Just one Finally

Yi Seo knows how badly Saeroyi wants to get the evidence to throw the murderer behind the bars. Dae Hee realized the success of Danbam is because of Yi Seo and wanted to poach her into Jangga. Geun Won was sent to poach her and in return, smart Yi Seo tricked him into confessing what he did. 

To save the company, Dae Hee sacrifices his elder son. Geun Won went to jail for 4 years. 

#6 Fight for love

Geun Soo has a one-sided crush on Yi Seo even before they join Danbam but he knows she will not accept him. One day he confessed and to reject him, Yi Seo said she will only consider him if he is the Chairperson/CEO of Jangga. 

In order to climb up the ladder, Geun Soo went back to Dae Hee and managed to replicate his father’s ruthless and fierce character in business. 

At the end of episode 14, Saeroyi finally figures out his feelings for Yi Seo but things just never go his way.
