Ahn Bo Hyun, Lee Yoo Bi, and Park Ji Hyun confirmed to join Yumi’s Cells

tvN’s upcoming drama Yumi’s Cells confirmed three more cast members to join Kim Go Eun, including Ahn Bo Hyun, Lee Yoo Bi, and Park Ji Hyun. SHINee’s Choi Min Ho has also confirmed to be making a cameo appearance in the drama as Woo Gi. Woo Gi is a colleague of Yumi whom she has a one-sided crush on.

The drama is about an ordinary office lady Yumi, the story was told from the perspective of her brain cells and how the cells are controlling her emotions, actions and feelings.

Yumi’s Cells is a hit webtoon that will be adapted into a drama with the director from Familiar Wife, My Holo Love, Lee Sang Yeob. Writers on board, we have Song Jae Jung who co-written Memories of the AlhambraW – Two Worlds as well as Kim Yoon Joo who co-written Find Me in Your Memory, and more.

Ahn Bo Hyun will be taking the role of Goo Woong. Goo Woong is a game developer who does not speak emotionally. He woke up Yumi’s love cell through his simple and honest personality.

Lee Yoo Bi will be taking the role of Ruby, described as an adorable fool. When it comes to love, she is a different person with good tactics and skills. Park Ji Hyun will be taking the role of Sae Yi, Goo Woong’s friend who possess perfect visuals and skills filled with ambition.

The production team confirmed that this will be breaking down into different seasons with 14 episodes each.

GOT7’s Jinyoung is offered the role of Yoo Babi, Yumi’s second boyfriend in Season 2.
