Are you ready for the new year? Before the annual affair happening this weekend to give recognition to all the effort from 2022.
Childhood in a Capsule

By far my favourite 2022 TVB drama, this might come as a surprise to TVB-goers since it is not even in the nomination list for the upcoming awards. However, I really love the chemistry between Owen Cheung and Samantha Ko Ling as well as the message that the scriptwriter is trying to convey.
Synopsis: The light-hearted romantic comedy is about fantasy and a strange encounter that tied Amanda Lei together with Ding Kor. Amanda is a tough CEO of the Lei’s Empire, she has a steady boyfriend and right-hand man Charlie. However, an accident that took place in KOL Ding Kor’s house turned her back into an elementary student mentally. Forensic Heroes 5

Not expecting much before starting the drama as the fourth instalment did not match expectations from the first 3 seasons. Maybe that’s the reason, but comparing the fourth and fifth season, the current definitely have a stronger appeal in terms of the storyline and cases.

Used Good

The theme of the drama is really refreshing and the storyline pace brilliantly. Not your intense action pack drama, also not one that filled with laughter nor romantic pink bubbles. If you are looking for that, this is not your drama. If you want another twist and different perspective that is still relatable in life, this is perfect for you.
Synopsis: The drama revolves around Wai Tak Shun and his senses with second-hand objects that lead him to Joey Fung. Joey’s family business is a second-hand shop and their parents seem to have a story behind which they want to hide from them. Big White Duel 2

The sequel is slightly better as the ratio of politics was lowered and clearer. Overall comparison, the first season is better than the second.
Synopsis: The second season following the successful medical drama, Big White Duel II introduces two new characters. Nancy Wu will be getting heads on with Roger Kwok in the political stand for Marshall Paxton Hospital while involved in a love triangle between Kenneth Ma and Natalie Tong. Moses Chan is a new doctor joining the Emergency Unit and also an ex-boyfriend of Kelly Cheng. No. of episodes: 30 Genre: Medical, Romance, Politics Native title: 白色強人II Original network: TVB, Youku Premiere: 25 July 2022
I’ve Got The Power

As per my review for this drama, the storyline is unexpectedly better than expectation I had after watching the teaser. I enjoyed watching the characters’ development and how their friendship blossom from strangers.

The Righteous Fists

If this is to compare with A Fists Within Four Walls, this might not be the best. But the story standalone is good.
