Based on a webtoon, D.P. is a military drama that follows the life of a private soldier Ahn Joo Ho (Jung Hae In). Joon Ho is struggling to adapt to military life, Sergeant Park Bum Goo (Kim Sung Kyun) witness it and offer him the role to join the D.P. squad.

He then joined Han Ho Yul (Koo Kyo Hwan) who is the team leader of the D.P. squad and together, they are delegated to track down military deserters. They set on a journey across the country to find the run-away soldiers.
