Native Title: 사이코지만 괜찮아
Original network: tvN, Netflix
The drama about Moon Kang Tae (Kim Soo Hyun) is a community health worker at a psychiatric ward who lives on minimal money a month. He has a brother Moon Sang Tae (Oh Jung Se) 8 years older who shows signs of autism known as an autism spectrum disorder (ASD).
Sang Tae likes and idolized a children storybook writer Go Moon Young (Seo Ye Ji) who has an antisocial personality disorder. Her storybooks are unlike the happy genre with ‘happily ever after’ like most.

Moon Young cross path with Kang Tae while she is having an event in the hospital he works in. The popular writer is extremely rude, selfish and arrogant and her manager and company staff always has to cover her bad tracks.
Opening animation
The drama start off with an animation of a story about a girl who is pushed away from the rest of the children. The lonely girl has a different mentality and personality, unlike the normal children.

She met a boy after saving his life and he follows her ever since. The lonely boy likes her until she decides to show him another side of her. She tore wings of all the butterflies she caught and he was in shock and left.

Progressing into the drama, it is similar to how Kang Tae met the little girl, which I think it is Moon Young.
You’re my ‘Safety pin’
Since their last encounter, Kang Tae seems to possess the ability to calm her down. I mean he is a senior working in a mental hospital for years. He knew she is different and her condition by seeing her behavior.

His actions triggers her interests and Moon Young starts to pay more attention to him and create opportunity to see him.
Moving, again

Ever since their mother was murdered, the Moon brothers have been moving around the country. Sang Tae has the seasonal fear of butterflies attacking him and the brothers have to move to another part of the country.

Jo Jae Soo (Kang Gi Dong) is Kang Tae’s friend who moves with them every time. He is probably the support pillar for Kang Tae when at times he needs someone to look after Sang Tae.
When the option opens to move back to their hometown, Kang Tae make sure that his brother is okay with the idea.
Follow you everywhere
Moon Young found out where he went and drove straight to find him, leaving all the chaos she caused with the company.
Really interesting, dark melodrama which is not that melo afterall. Anticipating how Kang Tae can cure Moon Young.
