The drama follow the lives of three individuals who strives hard for their dream in the modelling fashion industry. Sa Hye Joon (Park Bo Gum) is a bright and warm young man who dream to be a model and actor yet able to look at the world objectively.
Ahn Jung Ha (Park So Dam) dreams to be a makeup artist, she is sensible and hardworking person who is not easily shaken by things happening around her. Won Hae Hyo (Byun Woo Seok) is a model and actor who wants to be acknowledge for his hard work instead of the “spoon” that he was born with. Hye Joon and Hae Hyo are best friends.
Disapproving family
Hye Joon struggles for seven years doing multiple part time jobs just to support himself as a model waiting for casting offer to be actor. His family is not the best supporter apart from his roommate, his grandfather.

At home, Hye Joon’s elder brother is the star. His grandfather and him are treated like parasite or ignore them as they are pursuing unrealistic dream.
Meeting idol
Jung Ha is a fangirl of Hye Joon for a couple of years and she is finally going to see him face-to-face as a makeup artist. Nerve-wreaking D-Day, Jung Ha’s dazed made Hye Joon feel that she is cold.

Sitting right beside Hye Hyo, a little honest comment from Jung Ha made Hye Joon felt good. Reprimanded and accused by her senior, Jung Ha went to cry in a corner and met Hye Joon who is checking on her.
Out of nervousness, Jung Ha says that she is Hye Hyo’s fan and that explains why she was so nervous and quiet back then.

Reality Checked

Hye Joon and Hye Hyo are best friends working and inspire to be actor. However, they are fairly different when it comes to support receive from family. Hye Hyo is a chaebol and her mother use money and connection to increase his opportunities behind his back.
Did not receive the movie casting offer, will Hye Joon enlist into the army? The drama air every Monday and Tuesday on tvN and Netflix.
