The drama is about a single mother living on her own for 14 years, Noh Ae Jung (Song Ji Hyo) is a movie producer who have given up on romance but found herself starting the next chapter when four other men walks into her life at the same time. To even complicate things, an A-list actress Joo Ah Rin (Kim Da Som) enters into the story.
Ae Jung’s daughter Noh Ha Ni (Uhn Chae Young) grew up with the only wish to not be curious who her birth father is.
Tough times
Ae Jung raise Ha Ni with her mother Choi Hyang Ja (Kim Mi Kyung). To support the family, she took on multiple part time jobs and finally Ha Ni is going to school and time to take a step closer to her dream.
Unexpected debt
Ae Jung finally entered Thumbs Film as an accountant, having the idea she is closer towards her dream to be a film producer she give all for work. Years later, when Ha Ni is in middle school, the CEO of Thumbs Film ran away.

The loan shark went to the office to look for Ae Jung who accidentally signed as the guarantor. Goo Pa Do (Kim Min Joon) is the boss of the lender, the big boss with battle scars and tattoo all over his body with a cold and dark aura surrounding him.

Ae Jung found a handwritten contract by the famous writer and want to make it into a movie. She negotiate with Goo Pa Do and agree to write off the debt if she managed to get the writer and famous actor on board.
Turns out, the famous writer is her ex-boyfriend from college days, Oh Dae Oh (Son Ho Jun) and the famous actor is her college senior Ryu Jin (Song Jong Ho).
Different stories
Dae Oh claims to go through a bad breakup with Ae Jung and it made it hit the rock bottom in life. Wanting to take revenge, toy with Ae Jung’s wish to bring him onboard the movie.

His first book wrote about a female lead hurting the male lead and end up wanting to kill him, the person that love her so much. It depicts their story from Dae Oh’s point of view. Ae Jung stood up and back flashes to another part of the story, her part of the story.
Homeroom teacher is my dad?

Ha Ni went through box of Ae Jung’s old belonging and found a notebook that states ‘To our daughter’. On the sign off as dad is her homeroom teacher Oh Yeon Woo (Koo Ja Sung). Yeon Woo was delighted when he reunited with Ae Jung, and from gut feeling, he probably knew Ae Jung was pregnant 14 years ago and want to be the father.
