Previously it was revealed that GOT7’s Park Jinyoung was offered the role as Yoo Babi in tvN’s upcoming drama, Yumi’s Cells 유미의 세포들2.

Today, it is confirmed that Jinyoung will be joining the drama and will be acting alongside Kim Go Eun, Ahn Bo Hyun, Lee Yoo Bi, and Park Ji Hyun.

Yoo Babi will be appearing in the second season of Yumi’s Cells and Jinyoung mentioned that he has been communicating a lot with the director about his character. Yoo Babi is Yumi’s colleague who is sweet, handsome, and smart. He will be entangled in a relationship with Yumi.

The first season is likely to premiere in the second half of 2021 and is currently filming.

Jinyoung is currently in tvN’s ongoing drama, Devil Judge is set in a dystopian world. The drama follows the story of a judge who tries to punish evil by turning the court into a reality show.
