Pete’s Place @ Grand Hyatt

Second time dining at Pete’s Place. But it’s the first time after I’m legal.

I’ve a vague memory of my first dining experience there, but I remember is for the Lobster buffet and I was dressed quite poorly for the occasion. Well, at that point in time, I don’t even know where is Orchard and how expensive is Grand Hyatt. I’ve been there a few times for some snacks and treats from the service staff there when I’m waiting for my aunt to knock off from work.

Okay, let’s go back to the restaurant. Really honoured to be there again for birthday treat from aunty for three of us (my cousin, sister and I) as our birthday happens within a span of a month.

Cheers to the Sparkling Wine! And how much I love it, we finished two bottles during dinner and some chit-chats.

After the drinks, we’ll start off with the Free Flow Salad bar after ordering our main course. The colours and spread are amazing. Chose a little from the wide variety just to try and feel little healthier.

And to the main course….

Saltimbocca alla Romana (Veal loin escalope, Parma ham, sage, lemon)

First time trying Veal loin escalope and it’s really yummy. It doesn’t taste like the normal steak we get in other restaurants/places. And after the main course, it’s DESSERT TIME. How can we miss eating dessert, especially their Tiramisu. Even though it’s my second time there, but we do have their Tiramisu from mezza9 in a jar from time to time.

So yes, the Tiramisu above is the highlight for the desserts. After dessert, how can you forget a cup of cappuccino? On a side note, the biscuit at the side is really good as well.

xoxo
