This is a remake version from the original Chinese Drama of the same name, A Love So Beautiful.

The drama is set around a group of students from Chun Ji High School and how they blossom into adults. Cha Heon (WEi’s Kim Yo Han) is a perfect individual who possesses both looks and brains, he appears to be cold but he is just awkward when expressing himself.

Shin Sol Yi (So Joo Yeon) is a bubbly girl that likes Cha Heon for the longest time and isn’t afraid to voice out her love. Growing up as neighbors and classmates, Cha Heon and Sol Yi always stick to each other.

New transfer student Woo Dae Sung (Yeo Hoe Hyun) is a talented swimmer who fell in love with Sol Yi from the first day he went to Chun Ji High School.

High School Days

Sol Yi starts to confess her feelings to Cha Heon from her high school days. The relationship is definitely not love at first sight but is companionship help to create the bubble and the romance between both.

Love at first sight fell on Dae Sung when he met Sol Yi in the campus for the first time. Wanting to connect with her, he became a close friend with Sol Yi quickly. They became each others’ support system whenever one is feeling defeated.

Support system

High school is where you probably meet the friends that will stay with you for the rest of your life. Sol Yi and Kang Ha Young (Jo Hye Joo) are best friends and classmates, Jung Jin Hwan (Jung Jin Hwan) added into their clique because of his one-sided crush towards Ha Young.

Dae Sung was a transfer student assigned to sit beside Jin Hwan and he calls Sol Yi ‘Brother’ to masked the unrequited love. Cha Heon the outsider, ace in the class was naturally included because of Sol Yi.

Dae Sung was under strict training due to his potential as a national swimmer, he hurt his arm after saving Sol Yi from a minor bump. He kept his injury under wrap and only show the positive side of him. The entire clique tries to make it for every competition he is in to support him.

Dating and working

Cha Heon and Sol Yi’s relationship finally made a huge step at the end of their high school days. Cha Heon went to medical school to pursue his dream of being a doctor, the rest head off closer to their dream but Sol Yi decide to repeat a year to get better grades.

The pair became official until reality hits them, the lovey dovely couple soon only report on positive things and kept all their worries and hardship to themselves. Sol Yi slowly felt wear off and Cha Heon gets busier working in the hospital.

She initiate the break up and Cha Heon went sent to US for further studies. To him, they did not break up but Sol Yi thinks differently.

3 years later

Cha Heon completed the course and head home, back to Sol Yi. Their relationship was awkward but the clique still gathers due to Ha Young and Jin Hwan. The couple survived through everything over the years and tie a knot. The bridge that allows Cha Heon and Sol Yi to reconnect.
