The fantasy medical drama is set in Eunsang University Hospital which we see more than just the side of working in the healthcare industry, but also the non-humans and introduction of coma ghost. Cha Young Min (Rain) is one of the youngest professor and top surgeon in the hospital, well-known in the industry which became the money-driving asset the stakeholders want to retain.

Cha Young Min

Professor Cha is an individual who is cold and harsh on the outside, yet deep down he is a warm blooded caring doctor. He perform an extremely tough surgery as the main surgeon during his internship which made him a legend.

After Professor Cha performed a surgery on their VVIP, he rushed off outside to meet his ex-girlfriend Jang Se Jin (Uee). Couldn’t wait for her to appear, he receive a call saying the condition of the VVIP is critical and he rush back to the hospital.

On his way, he was caught in an accident and went into a coma state. Soul left his body at scene and he follow his exterior back to the hospital he is working at.

Ko Seung Tak

Ko Seung Tak (Kim Bum) is a first year resident that reports to Cha Young Min. He is a book smart person with strong connections with the chairman therefore he has no fear to losing his position in the hospital.

Everything seems good about living life as Seung Tak, however his biggest BUT is that he fear to perform surgery on anyone.

Overall, the drama is surprisingly good and there isn't any overly cringy scenes. Dual male lead drama might be starting to be common, but this is definitely one that pulls off well by balancing the seriousness and comedic factor in the storyline. The rapport between Rain and Kim Ki Bum came off well and enjoyable to watch.

Young Min’s body needs another emergency operation and no one qualified is able to do it. Seung Tak was pushed to be on that position and panic move makes Young Min realised he can enter Seung Tak’s body. He start to possess him on and off to make sure he is doing the right things while handling any patients.

After figuring out that he is a coma ghost from a real ghost Tess (Sung Dong Il), Young Min starts to adjust his life as a coma ghost with the help of the other coma ghost in the hospital. At first, he was not welcomed by Choi Hoon Kil (Choi Seok Won) as he was saying him and Hwang Kook Chan (Han Seung Hyun) hogging the bed in coma state.

Investigating the truth

The uncalled-for accident was the perfect excuse for the stakeholders to push the blame to Cha Young Min when the VVIP is not recovering well. Turns out, it was actually a plot by VVIP’s son, Jang Min Ho (Lee Tae Sung) and Seung Tak’s cousin, the president of the hospital, Han Seung Won (Tae In Ho).

VVIP’s daughter flew back from the States to see her father in critical condition and her half brother is doing his ruffian best to separate her from their father. That is when Jang Se Jin (Uee) first reunion with her ex-boyfriend Cha Young Min before his accident.

As a coma ghost, he is able to go in and out of the VVIP room freely and even talked to the come ghost VVIP. By visiting the ward, he discover the truth and felt very sorry for him, but knew that his surgery went well and was sabotage after it.

Flip the table around

Even if Young Min knew the truth, he was not able to change anything in the physical world. Through his time in the hospital as a coma ghost, his extra time allows him to see the story behind each patient and discover loopholes that can save them from coma state.

Seung Tak admit that he can see him all along and through multiple friction, they are able to join forces together to save lives while trying to figure out how to seek justices.
