The drama is about a type of person labeled as Kkondae, defined a person who is rigid and old school. Ga Yeol Chan (Park Hae Jin) landed his first office job at a ramen company but his superior Lee Man Sik (Kim Eung Soo) is a kkondae and always forced his way on Yeol Chan.
He left the depressing company and the boss, within 5 years he work hard and became the Chief of Sales and Marketing department of another ramen company.
New interns on board
When you are capable, there will be jealousy sparks between your opponents. The founder’s son Namgoong Jun Soo (Park Ki Woong) and the jealous board of directors decide to indirectly make Yeol Chan leave.

The first step is to hire the interns that he rejected during the interview. Lee Tae Ri (Han Ji Eun), Joo Yoon Soo (Noh Jong Hyun), and Lee Man Sik report to work under Yeol Chan’s Sales and Marketing department.
What comes around, goes around
Man Sik was a nasty superior to Yeol Chan 5 years ago which left him quite depressed and feel hopeless. When he first joined the department, he wanted to take revenge by treating him the way he was treated while working for Man Sik.

However, Man Sik was hired to sabotage Yeol Chan’s career within the company. He slowly sees and understand how much mental scar he left on Yeol Chan and want to protect him instead.
Intern trip around Korea

After Yeol Chan’s position was strip off, he was determined to come out with a new ramen flavor for the company. Yeol Chan embarks on the trip with the three interns across the country to find inspiration.
