The drama is about the growth of two individuals pursuing their dreams because you only live once. Shim Deok Chul (Park In Hwan) is a 70-year-old retired mailman who dreams to be a ballerina but his family isn’t pleased with the idea. 

Lee Chae Rok (Song Kang) is a 23-year-old man who grew up playing soccer but wasn’t talented in it. Ballet sparks his interest and been pursuing it under Ki Seung Joo (Kim Tae Hoon), who was a famous ballerina.

Finally pursuing own dream

Shim Deok Chul is now a retired mailman who did his part of supporting his family and fulfilling his father’s dream of earning a stable income. Deok Chul fell in love with ballet after seeing people soaring on the stage while he was young. But that idea was always put on hold.

Chae Rok was practicing alone in a studio and spot Deok Chul standing outside watching. He bothered him but after a few times, he caught up with him. Deok Chul then requests to learn ballet from him.

Understanding and accepting

When you suddenly found out that your husband is taking ballet classes behind your back. After Choi Hae Nam (Na Moon Hee) found out that Deok Chul is going out for ballet classes, she ignored him and told him not to bring shame to the family.

Thankfully, she think it through and decide to support her husband’s dream after he have been supporting the family all his life. The pair of grandparents start to shower Chae Rok with more love and extra care when he was injured.

Chae Rok is a youngster that is living alone after his father was sent to prison after hitting students. Even after release, Lee Moo Young (Jo Sung Ha) did not find his son but went to somewhere far away to work, because he is ashamed.

The biggest secret

Shim Seong Gwan (Jo Bok Rae) is a doctor that chose to be unemployed, the third son of Deok Chul did not disclose the reason he left a promising and desirable job but he choose to support him.

Deok Chul was hiding the fact that he was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s disease which he will slowly forget things and people. Chae Rok chance upon his secret while picking up his little notebook. Slowly the entire family knew it and want to support him to soar on the stage where he finally proves himself a place to perform.

Will he able to stand on the stage and remember why he is there and what he needs to do?
