The drama set in an art university, a niche specialization class that faces a lack of students. Both from the same sculpting major, Yuan Qian (Ireine Song Yi Ren) and Qin Shen (Aaron Deng Chao Yuan) are two individuals who believe they will be single for life.
Qing Shen is a well-known handsome guy in school, his dream is to be a sculptor and relationship is not even in his plans. Yuan Qian is a bubbly next door girl, her passion is canvas (oil) painting but was sent to the sculptor major due to the lack of students.
Unrequited love
Ling Wei (Hong Shan Shan) from a dance major and goddess-like female figure in the school, not giving anyone a chance as she only has eyes locked on her high schoolmate Qin Shen. She believed that there must be a misunderstanding happened, a story that turned her into a villain that causes the loath Qin Shen has. A new girl caught her attention when she sees the ice-prince starts to show care and concern, Ling Wei starts to befriend Yuan Qian.
Yuan Qian initially felt uncomfortable and puzzled with Ling Wei’s friendliness. Slowly she realized that she was using her compassion to indirectly create distant between her and Qin Shen and guilt her into not accepting Qin Shen.
Song Si Yi (Wang Run Ze) is a passionate youngster from a sports major. After he recognized Yuan Qian is his childhood crush, he starts to confess and pay special attention to her. Si Yi has financial difficulty and after Yuan Qian recognized him, she wants to help him out and that even means by loaning him her money.
However, from the beginning, Yuan Qian only treat him like a long lost family a brother.
Transferring major
Yuan Qian’s biggest wish in school is to transfer to the canvas art painting major, but students in the sculpting major are like a big family. She keeps her operation of switching major a top-secret mission if not she will be mistaken as a betrayer. She accidentally slipped her request form into Qin Shen’s bag which is identical to hers and he found out her secret.
Instead of exposing her, Qin Shen helped her to keep a secret but used it as a pawn to boss Yuan Qian around once in a while. She is constantly caught in some trouble due to Ling Wei’s friend sabotage and her pure bluntness. Almost every time, Qin Shen will help her to cover up and he starts to develop positive feelings towards her after knowing Yuan Qian better.
Profession crisis
Due to the low intake, the university decide to close down the sculptor major and the current first year students will switch to learn design instead of art. Majority of the class is made up of students that was ‘forced’ into the class from other majors, but getting to know sculpting and start to love it. The entire class tries to brainstorm ways to increase the attractiveness of their major and promote it to the high schools in the city.
Will Yuan Qian successfully switch major? Will it be the end for the sculpting art major?
