The story revolves around the insecurity of a woman without make-up, Im Joo Kyung (Moon Ga Young) was born a middle child but did not inherit the good looks and brain that her elder sister and younger brother has. Being bullied in school due to her ‘ugly face’ drives her to the point of ending her life. The news of moving back to the old house and transferring school helped her to find a new purpose in life.
She fell in love with the only person outside her family that see her true self, Lee Su Ho (Astro’s Cha Eun Woo) is an attractive and smart individual that holds the no.1 rank in school for the longest time. However, he likes to stay alone and swallow his sorrows.
Han Seo Jun (Hwang In Yeob) and Lee Su Ho are close friends since middle school but drifted apart after Jeong Se Yeon (SF9’s Chani) suicide. Seo Jun fell for Joo Kyung after knowing her better outside school.
