The story revolves around the insecurity of a woman without make-up, Im Joo Kyung (Moon Ga Young) was born a middle child but did not inherit the good looks and brain that her elder sister and younger brother has. Being bullied in school due to her ‘ugly face’ drives her to the point of ending her life. The news of moving back to the old house and transferring school helped her to find a new purpose in life.

She fell in love with the only person outside her family that see her true self, Lee Su Ho (Astro’s Cha Eun Woo) is an attractive and smart individual that holds the no.1 rank in school for the longest time. However, he likes to stay alone and swallow his sorrows.

Han Seo Jun (Hwang In Yeob) and Lee Su Ho are close friends since middle school but drifted apart after Jeong Se Yeon (SF9’s Chani) suicide. Seo Jun fell for Joo Kyung after knowing her better outside school.

Joo Kyung was bullied by her classmates due to her looks decides to start fresh when her family has to move back to the old house. She picks up makeup lessons through online videos and transform herself and became the goddess of Saebeom High School.

Soon they got closer due to the same passion and Su Ho found out they are the same person fairly quickly and decide to help her hide the truth in school.

The real face that Joo Kyung fought hard to keep a secret was left out of the bag. Soo Jin was shocked but chose to protect Joo Kyung when she found out her bare face during their camping trip.
