Since last August, Ji Sung and GOT7’s Park Jin Young along with Park Gyu Young are in talks to joined the tvN’s legal drama, Devil Judge 악마판사. Today, tvN confirmed the main cast line up including them as well as Kim Min Jung.
The drama follows the story of a judge who tries to punish evil by turning the court into a reality show.
Kang Yo Han (Ji Sung) is the head trial judge who wears a lawyer’s robe to hunt down villains. The devil judge punishes the greedy and power-hungry individuals through the courtroom show. He has a mysterious aura and it is almost impossible for an outsider to know what he is thinking.
Jung Sun Ah (Kim Min Jung) is an executive director of the CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) foundation and also Yo Han’s biggest rival. She is unlike a plain jane, Sun Ah have both looks and brain and is closely involved with powerful people that will shake up the nation.
Kim Ga On (GOT7’s Park Jin Young) is an associate trial judge who shines like a ray of hope in the world of injustices. Lost his parents at a young age, childhood wasn’t the best time for him but he worked himself up in order to get his first appointment as a judge. Ga On was thrown into the chaos that Yo Han is orchestrating while he observes him at work.
Yoon Soo Hyun (Park Gyu Young) is a police officer in a regional investigation unit that sets to find out Kang Yo Han’s secret. Growing up with Kim Ga On, they have been best friends since they are a kid. Her overflowing charms are seen by everyone apart from Ga On.
The drama is set to premiere in the second half of 2021.
