Something crazy happened and Oh Yeon Joo was dragged into the webtoon world by the main character, Kang Chul (Lee Jong Suk) at the brink of his death.

(This is my all-time favorite drama along with Goblin and Moon Lovers: Scarlet Heart Ryeo. One that I will revisit and rewatch from time to time).

W World

Kang Chul is the main character in ‘W’, a talented gold medal shooter at a young age. His entire family was killed with a bullet through their head and he was thrown behind bars as murder suspect. Years later he was released due to the lack of evidence and story begins.

Kang Chul became a ultra-rich and young CEO in the country, everything looks good but he is in a thriller webtoon. He bought a broadcasting company and open a show name W, to hunt down the real killer of his family.

Along with him, the main characters are Yoon Soo Hee (Jung Yoo Jin), Kang Chul’s personal assistant, and his bodyguard Seo Do Yoon (Lee Tae Hwan). Kang Chul’s will allows him to take control of the storyboard and made the creator scared.

Cross into a fiction world

Kang Chul pulled Yeon Joo into the world of webtoon and started to develop an interest in this individual that doesn’t seem to exist in the world. Yeon Joo was puzzled and scared at the same time when she was summoned into the story, only able to return back when there’s a strong change of emotions by Kang Chul.

Kang Chul found out that he is living in a world and his ill fate was created by Sung Moo. After he realized it, his world paused and he crosses over to the real world.

Dumbfounded and horror

Park Su Bong (Lee Si Eon) is the apprentice that worked with Sung Moo for a few years. After Yeon Joo was pulled into the webtoon, she tried to convince herself and Su Bong that it is really happening. Slowly, they accept it but have no idea how to prevent it.

Kang Chul shot Sung Moo, he was furious that he was created and given the ill fate. After that, he went to Hangang and commit suicide in hopes to end the webtoon. Months later, Yeon Joo was pulled into the scene of him lying at the bottom of the river.

Revived the webtoon, Yeon Joo and Kang Chul want to turn the thriller into a romantic comedy. The brief sweet moment ended when they realized Yeon Joo can get hurt in the webtoon world as well. Call from the unknown killer warns Kang Chul that he will put a bullet to his new family like how he did to his family decades ago.
