tvN’s new variety show House on Wheels 바퀴달린집 showcase the experience living in a non-traditional brick house. Staff from tvN built the entire house on wheel from scratch and it is approved by the government. The small and portable home is house for three actors, Sung Dong Il, Kim Hee Won and magnae Yeo Jin Goo.

Sung Dong Il sometimes calls Jin Goo ‘son’ since they acted as father-son in a drama when Jin Goo is still a child actor. Kim Hee Won who always takes on the villain role is actually a softy in real life.
Episode 1 & 2 – Reunited Reply 1988
The first episode and also the first adventure, the house on wheels invited 2 special guests, Lee Hye Ri and Ra Mi Ran. Reply 1988 is a big hit drama back in 2015, Lee Hye Ri acted as Dong Il daughter and Mi Ran is their close neighbor.
Throughout the episodes, you will see Dong Il calls out to his daughter (Lee Hye Ri) and son (Yeo Jin Goo) like it is really his children.
Episode 3 to 5 – Actress Gong Hyo Jin
For those who’ve watched When the Camellia Blooms, The Producers, Its’ Okay, That’s Love and many more will definitely recognize her. Gong Hyo Jin is a veteran actress while multiple good rating dramas.
She joined the House on Wheels in Jeju island, from the windy beach to the mountain top.
Episode 5 & 6 – Actress and model Lee Sung Kyung
Honestly, I did not catch Lee Sung Kyung in any variety shows so my memories are stuck with the dramas that I’ve watched. Did not expect her to have a bubble and outgoing character. Under YG Entertainment, she has good rating dramas such as the recent Dr. Romantic Teacher Kim 2, Doctors, Cheese in the Trap, About Time and more.
Episode 7 & 8 – Hotel del Luna mini reunion
Jin Goo invited IU (Lee Ji Eun) to the House on Wheels as his friend. The co-stars met and begin their friendship since Hotel del Luna, they reunite on the show after one year. The onscreen couple is probably the highest anticipated episode so far.
The House on Wheel family even went to paragliding with IU.
On episode 8, they invited Block B’s P.O. to the show. P.O. is part of the Hotel del Luna’s main cast as well. Sung Dong Il told Kim Hee Won that he felt like his son inviting his friends over to their home.
#9 Hee Won’s Friends
Hee Won finally invite his friends over after 8 episodes. 3 actors and 1 actress he befriend throughout his acting career. Showing a different side of him and also it is probably the first time seeing all actor based on a variety show together.

#10 Reunited with first Reply daughter
Sung Dong Il invited his first daughter Apink’s Jung Eunji from the Reply series to House on Wheels. Eunji’s first drama and Dong Il acted as her father in Reply 1997. Since then, Dong Il treat her like his daughter and he really want her to appear in the show.
#12 With Ha Ji Won on Geoje Island
The House on Wheel invited actress Ha Ji Won, the final guest for the show. Ha Ji Won, Sung Dong Il and Hee Won worked together for a movie (unreleased) and built their friendship from there.
They went on a fishing trip and witness the true meaning behind ‘beginner’s luck’.
Sadly, this concludes the season of House on Wheels 바퀴달린집. But believe this is not it when Sung Dong Il mentioned that they are looking forward to the next season. Trying to figure out who should they invite as all their guests want to return if they have the chance.
