When there is a good script with great response from viewers, we will crave to have it in our own language and version as well.

Here are some of the few K dramas that I know of, which is a remake from an American series.

#1 Suits

Of course I have to include this, since I watched both of it. Even though I only completed the original one until Season 3. Full review here.

#2 Criminal Minds

Genre: Crime, Mystery, Action
No. of episodes: 20

Fictional NCI team made up of a highly trained person who will track down criminals to solve cases. Check out the full details here.

#3 Entourage

Genre: Comedy
No. of episodes: 16

A remake of HBO’s Entourage, from the reviews it shows that it is a little toned down version of the original series. Aired in 2016 with a total of 16 episodes.

This is one of the roles that made Seo Kang Joon, the male lead, famous and recognized.

Upcoming series that will be remade in 2019-2020

#1 Designated Survivor

Genre: Drama, Political

Even though I did not watch the original Designated Survivor, but I did hear about this series before. This might not be one of my must-watch since it is a political drama which is not my preferred genre.

Ji Jin Hee confirmed for the lead role of Park Moo Jin and it will be airing in the first half of 2019.

#2 Younger

Genre: Romance, Drama

JTBC confirmed that they will be remaking the series Younger which is a story of a single mom in her 40s pretends she is 20 years younger to secure a job. The series is likely to be air in 2020. Meanwhile, you might want to check out the original series.
