tvN’s upcoming drama Yumi’s Cells is about an ordinary office lady Yumi, story was told from the perspective of her brain cells and how the cells are controlling her emotions, actions and feelings.

Yumi’s Cells is a hit webtoon that will be adapted into a drama with the director from Familiar Wife, My Holo Love, Lee Sang Yeob. Writers on board, we have Song Jae Jung who co-written Memories of the Alhambra, W – Two Worlds as well as Kim Yoon Joo who co-written Find Me in Your Memory, and more.
Kim Go Eun is confirmed for the role as Yumi.

Today, GOT7’s Park Jinyoung was revealed to be cast and offered the role of Yoo Babi, Yumi’s second boyfriend. If he accepts the role, he will be joining his labelmate, Kim Go Eun, in the second season of the drama.
Earlier in March, it was revealed that Ahn Bo Hyun is offered the role of Goo Woong. Goo Woong is a romanticist and will slowly bubble a romantic relationship with Yumi. FN Entertainment clarified that he is positively reviewing this offer.
To add on more excitement, SHINee’s Choi Minho is in talks to make a cameo appearance in the drama as Woo Gi. Woo Gi is a colleague of Yumi whom she has a one-sided crush on.
