UPDATES!
TVB dramas in general are slowing down its pace but hopefully it will pick up very soon. With a huge library of good content, they are starting to release bit by bit in the coming months. Some background information, there are only 1 broadcasting station that will be airing Hong Kong drama with 2 slots, 8:30PM or 9:30PM.
Here are the four dramas that will be up before the first half of 2020 ends. Apart from the first two titles, the rest are relatively new.
#1 Brutally Young
Premiere: 20 April to 15 May 2020, every Monday to Friday.
Native title: 十八年後的終極告白
There are a total of 20 episodes filled with crime thrillers led by Joel Chan, Mandy Wong and Shawn Tam. The drama talks about a group of guys involved in a murder but was buried well until 18 years later, the body is out. What will happened to the group of guys?

#2 The Exorcist Meter 2.0
Premiere: 4 May 2020 to 5 June 2020, every Monday to Friday
Native title: 降魔的2.0
The second instalment of The Exorcist Meter is one of the most anticipated drama after the audience first see the capability of TVB’s drama team with the horror genre. The drama will be aired after Airport Strikers with 25 episodes of horror after security.
The drama led by the same cast members Kenneth Ma, Mandy Wong, Hubert Wu and Moon Lau, we will expect to see better chemistry here.
#3 Flying Tiger II
Premiere: 18 May 2020 to 26 June 2020, every Monday to Friday.
Native title: 飛虎之雷霆極戰
This drama will be taking the slot of Brutally Young. For those action drama lovers, this is the second season of the ‘Flying Tiger’ but I remember there are more ‘flying tiger’ dramas previously.
The drama led by Michael Miu, Bosco Wong, Ron Ng, Kenneth Ma and more veteran actors.
#4 Life after death
Premiere: 8 June 2020 to 10 July 2020, every Monday to Friday
Native title: 那些我愛過的人
Led by Frankie Lam, Priscilla Wong, Mark Ma and more. This 25 episodes of romantic melodrama will be taking over the slot from The Exorcist’s Meter 2.0.
#5 Death by Zero
Premiere: 29 June 2020 to 7 August 2020, every Monday to Friday
Native title: 殺手
FINALLY! This action comedy was planned as the 2019 finale but due to the controversy, it was kept in the ‘fridge’ for a while. Leading by Wayne Lai, Moses Chan and Ali Lee, this is one of the drama that I anticipate!
