The Great Escape 4 announced cast lineup and premiere date

The Great Escape 4 New Cast Line Up

One of my favourite Chinese Variety show just dropped their dates for the fourth season and announced their new cast line up on 5 July. The Great Escape is a game show that sets in different themed escape rooms with a horror spin. Created by Mango TV, every season we will see even more surprises and mind tricking puzzles.

Native title: 密室大逃脱4
Original network: Mango TV

This season, we have our regular members such as Yang Mi and Justin that continue since the very first season. Joining them we have familiar faces such as Wowkie Zhang Da Wei and Zhang Guo Wei that was a fixed member in at least 2 seasons each.

The members are interviewed individually on their way to film their first episode. Yang Mi shared that she is went to quite a number of escape rooms with Justin. Apart from that, they shared on their regrets and which episode strikes them the most from the collection of the past 3 seasons.

In the fourth season, we are back to a six (6) members team instead of the five for both season two and three. The new members includes Peng Yu Chang and William Chan.

A little background of the new members. Peng Yu Chang is an actor known for various projects, but I really got to know him through Back to Field since season 2 up to the ongoing Season 6.

William Chan is a singer and actor from Hong Kong who made his debut through a cantopop group Sun Boy’z in 2006. He gradually shifted his career to China since 2013, a few years after he left the group.

The Great Escape 4 Premiere Date

The Great Escape 4 is set to premiere on 14 July 2022 through Mango TV app and subsequently available on their official YouTube Channel, every Thursday at 12PM.
